Core Supports | Descriptions |

Assistance with Daily Life | Funding to covering expenses related to: • Personal care • Meal preparation • Cleaning • Gardening • Laundry |
Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation | Funding to cover cost associated with accessing and participating in thecommunity, such as: • Community, social, recreational, or economic activities • One-to one support to attend a social outing or activity • Participate in sport and exercise, including joining a club |
Consumable | Funding to pay for everyday items and/or low risk/low-cost items/products E.G: • Nutritional supplements • Continence products • Auslan or Signed English training • Low-cost assistive technology |
Transport | Funding to cover transport from a provider, for example: • When a provider transports you to an activity that is not itself a support,or to a support that is delivered by another provider |
Home and Living | To support participants to live as independently as possible. Options include: • Supported Independent Living • Medium Term Accommodation • Individual Living Options • Assistance with daily life tasks provided in a residential aged care facility |
YPIRAC – Cross Billing | Funding for some of the fees and charges related to young people in residentialaged care, such as: • The basic care subsidy • Care and accommodation out-off-pocket costs |

Behaviour Support | To pay for supports to help participants develop behavioural managementcapacities to reduce behaviours issues. |
Choice and Control | Funding for a plan manager to manage your budget, process providers’ invoicesand your reimbursements claims. |
Finding and keeping a Job | To cover supports that help participants to find and keep a job, such as;employment-related support, training, and assessments. |
Health and Wellbeing | To pay for supports that are directly related to managing the impact ofparticipant’s disability on their health. |
Improved Daily Living Skills | To cover supports to help participants to maintain, develop or increase theirskills and capacity for independence and community participation, includingassessments, training and therapy. |
Improved Living Arrangements | To help participants to find and keep suitable accommodation to live in,including assistance with securing a rental property and meeting tenancyobligations. |
Increased Social and Community Participation | To pay for support to help participants take part in skill-based learning todevelop independence in accessing the community. |
Lifelong Learning | Supports funding to assist participants to move from school to tertiaryeducation such as; training, advice and support. |
Relationships | Funding to help participants develop positive social skills and interact withothers in the community. |
Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches | Funding for support coordinators and psychosocial recovery coaches to helpparticipants understand their NDIS plan and build connections with NDISproviders, the community, and other mainstream supports. |

Assistive Technology – Maintenance, Repair and Rental | Funding for supports to maintain and repair assistive technology and pay forshort term rental and trial of assistive technology supports |
Home Modifications | Funding for structural modifications to participant’s home to make it easier forthem to live there, including assessment and maintenance of homemodifications. |
Specialist Disability Accommodation | Funding for the costs associated with living in a house that’s designedspecifically for people with extreme functional impairment. |
